On Saturday, October 15, 2011 I will be leaving the warmth of Phoenix to travel to visit the land of my ancestors (at least some of them) near Warsaw, Poland.

My transit takes me from Phx to Chicago’s expansive O’Hare airport then across the water to Helsinki, Finland. The airport there looks lovely, so if I disappear at that leg of the trip, I must have stayed in Helsinki. Just look for me in an airport cafe.

If I don’t end up crashing at the Helsinki airport (isn’t “Helsinki” fun to say?), I’ll be on my way to Warsaw to meet up with my mom.
